New Student Enrollment Process (Steps 1–5)
1. Academic Planning & Requirements
Before entering the system, ensure you understand your departmental mandates:
- 📑 Academic Information System: View Required/Elective List for your year of entry.
- 🔗 Official Regulations: Check Graduation Credit Requirements.
⚠️ Important: NTHU does NOT automatically register students for required courses. You must manually add every subject.
Phase 1: Secure Dept. Required Courses
Phase 2: Arrange GE & Electives
2. How to Use the Selection Systems
🕒 Formal System Hours: Daily 12:00 PM – 09:00 AM (Closed 09:00–12:00 for maintenance).
🧩 A. Tentative System (Pre-planning)
Practice using the interface without conflict checks.
🚀 B. Formal Course Selection System
Path: University Information System → Select Courses.
- Query: Use "Curriculum catalog" to find courses.
- Add/Drop: Click "ADD" to enroll or "QUIT" to remove.
⚠️ Security: System logs out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
3. Understanding Your Selection Results
Official results are ONLY found in the Academic Information System.
📍 How to Check
📍 Why was I not selected?
- Quota exceeded: The course is full. Check remaining quotas for other sections in the next phase.
- Schedule Conflict: Overlaps with an already secured course.
- Quota Reached: Hit the limit for that category (e.g., Max 3 GE courses).
- Volunteer Schedule Conflicts: A higher preference was already secured.
🎓 NTHU eeclass/eLearn: Access materials the next day after enrollment.
4. Digital Learning Systems Sync Schedule

📅 Add-or-Drop Period/Extra Selection
