Policy on International Students Enrolling in English-Taught Courses
To facilitate course enrollment for international students, courses designated as English-taught are open to them regardless of any enrollment restrictions set for other student groups.
- Undergraduate international students may enroll in any English-taught undergraduate course without restrictions.
- Graduate international students may enroll in any English-taught graduate course without restrictions.
Exceptions:
- Undergraduate university-mandated required courses
- Courses restricted to professional degree programs (e.g., Executive Master's programs) are not open to non-program students.
- Courses offered under the following course codes are excluded:
- BAI (Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Artificial Intelligence)
- IMS (International Intercollegiate Master Program)
- IPHD (International Intercollegiate Ph.D. Program)
- PMED (Ph.D. Program in Precision Medicine)
- THSM (Tsing Hua School of Medicine)
- TSE (Master Program in Political Economy)
