Important Notice: NTHU adopts a self-directed course registration system. Students must register for all courses (including required and elective courses) online by themselves. Please do not miss the course selection deadlines.
- Spring 2026 graduate students are eligible to participate in the 3rd Course Selection Period and the Add-or-Drop Period (including Extra Selection).

Regulations for Graduate Students
- Graduate Student Registration & Credit Policies
Graduate students must enroll in at least one course each semester. Second-year master’s students (or above) and second-year doctoral students (or above), subject to departmental regulations, may enroll in “Thesis Research” with 0 credits only. - Please refer to your department website for graduation credit requirements.

Credit Fee Information
- Graduate Credit Fees
Credits exceeding the minimum graduation requirement set by each department (excluding credits paid at partner universities for inter-university courses) are exempt from additional credit fees. - Impact of Course Withdrawal or Course Drop on Credit Fees
Credit fees are calculated based on enrollment status at the end of the add/drop period. Even if a course is withdrawn later, the credit fee will not be refunded.
