Exceptions
No Extra Selection Courses
- Extra selection is not possible for courses marked with a 'No Extra Selection' label; instead, one must enroll through the various course selection steps until the class is filled or wait for other students to quit the course before enrolling.
Special Consideration
- In exceptional cases, if the instructor agrees to special consideration and receives the department's consent, the teacher may give the departmental office permission to accept student requests for additional course enrollments.
Important Notes
1. Course Prerequisites
-
The system will automatically check prerequisite requirements if the course has restrictions.
-
If prerequisites are not met, the application will not be accepted.
2. Credit Load Warnings
-
If the system detects that the application may cause an overload of credits, it will issue a warning.
-
Students are advised to apply for an overload approval with the department first to avoid rejection during the instructor’s approval process.
3. Application and Approval Timeline
-
The instructor’s approval process takes time; even after approval, course adjustments may still be necessary.
-
It is recommended to submit applications as early as possible.
-
For the first semester of the 114th academic year: After 9:00 AM, September 15, any unresolved requests (e.g., schedule conflicts, credit overload) will be considered invalid.
