Electives
Students can only take elective courses through the interschool course selection process when the school does not offer those courses.
Credit hours
An undergraduate student's interschool credit hours must not exceed one-third of their credit hours each semester. Credit hours are calculated using a round number without the decimal.
Credit fee
Interschool credit hours will be calculated into the current semester's credit hours. The credit fees will be charged in Tsing Hua University for those who take courses in Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Central University.
Students must understand and obey the other schools' regulations when taking interschool courses.
Some departments at NTHU cooperate with National Chiao Tung University and have included their course contents in our school's syllabus. Students of these departments can select these courses directly. (For example, courses offered between the Department of Physics and NCTU are coded as PHYU; courses offered between the Institute of Statistics and NCTU are coded as STAU.)
