Important Notice on AIA Course Withdrawal (Non-NTHU Co-instructed Courses, Spring 2026)

⚠️ Withdrawal of Non-NTHU Co-Instructed AIA courses = ALL THREE steps must be completed to be valid!
Missing any step (NTHU system / NTU COOL / Email notification) → Your withdrawal will be considered incomplete.

① Submit withdrawal in the NTHU system
Complete the course withdrawal application via the NTHU Academic Information System.
② Submit withdrawal request on NTU COOL
Fill out the “Midterm Withdrawal Request Form” on NTU COOL and wait for instructor approval.
※ Each student may submit only once, and the form cannot be modified after submission
③ Send NTU COOL approval email before May 9, 09:00 (Most commonly missed step)
Please forward the “NTU COOL approval notification email” to:
curricul@my.nthu.edu.tw

📌 Why is this required?
NTU COOL and the NTHU system are separate platforms and do not synchronize automatically.
The Curriculum Division must use this email to process instructor approval in the NTHU system.

※ The email must be sent before May 9, 09:00 (aligned with the NTHU system deadline)
※ Failure to send the email = withdrawal will NOT be processed in the NTHU system (considered not submitted)
📅 Application Period

NTHU system: Apr 20, 12:00 – May 9, 09:00
NTU COOL: Apr 27, 09:00 – May 10, 17:00

⚠️ Important: The NTHU system closes earlier. It is strongly recommended to complete ALL steps before May 9.
📌 Additional Notes
Approval on NTU COOL only indicates instructor consent. Students must still complete the official withdrawal process at NTHU.
