How to Search for Courses
📘 Course Code
Courses offered by NTHU follow the standard departmental course codes and remain unchanged.
Courses offered by other universities through the TAICA alliance are listed in NTHU’s course selection system under the course code prefix "AIA".
All such courses will be marked as "AIA課程" (AIA Course) in the course remarks section.
🔍 Steps to Search for AIA Courses
- Log into the course selection system.
- Use the Keyword Search function.
- Enter the keyword "AIA" and search in Course Remarks. This will display all available AIA courses.
Course Enrollment Instructions
NTHU Courses
- Register through NTHU’s course selection system.
- If a course is full, you may still attempt to add it manually (extra selection).
- Inter-university course selection applications from students of other institutions will not be accepted.
Courses Offered by Other Universities (with AIA Course Code)
- Enroll via NTHU’s course selection system.
- Seats are limited; extra selection is not accepted.
- Once enrolled, no additional inter-university course registration forms are required.
- Courses may be conducted in synchronous or asynchronous formats.
- Inter-university course selection applications from students of other institutions will not be accepted.
⚠️ Course Withdrawal Policy (Important Notice)
Please note that the TAICA alliance withdrawal timeline is different from NTHU's timeline. In addition to applying for withdrawal through NTHU's system, students MUST also submit a separate Course Withdrawal application in accordance with the specific timeline and regulations announced by the TAICA alliance.

Synchronous In-Person Exams and Presentation Regulations
Some courses may include synchronous in-person exams or presentations, so students should pay close attention to the related regulations.
Digital Learning Platform, NTU COOL
All courses listed above will all utilize National Taiwan University's NTU COOL digital learning platform.

Please be aware that all email notifications sent through NTU COOL will only be delivered to the official school email address associated with each student and will not be sent to personal email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, etc.). Therefore, all enrolled students must ensure that the email address registered in the academic information system is their National Tsing Hua University email address (ending with nthu.edu.tw). Otherwise, you will not receive any notifications from the platform.
💡 Don't forget to log in AIS > Personal Information and update your school email address.

Once the email address is confirmed, it cannot be changed for the entire semester. If you discover any registration errors, please immediately notify the Division of Curriculum to ensure you receive all platform notifications. (curricul@my.nthu.edu.tw)
