Course selection for new students
System Login & Tentative Schedule
Eligibility
The course selection period for new students is exclusively available to newly admitted students. During this time, you may select or cancel courses online, except for those with enrollment restrictions.
Timing & Selection Rules
You may select courses at any time during the designated period. Enrollment decisions are not made on a first-come, first-served basis—your chances of getting into a course are the same regardless of when you submit your selections within this period.
Editing Preferences
You are free to update your preferences or priorities at any time during the selection period, and as many times as needed.
Allocation Mechanism
At the end of the selection period, a computerized random allocation process will assign students to courses with enrollment limits. Once the results are released, you can check your course enrollment status via the Students’ Inquiry System. You will still have opportunities to add or drop courses during the subsequent selection periods.
Important Notes
Please note that the course selection system does not automatically pre-select any courses. You must select each course individually based on your department’s requirements and your own academic plan.
