語言中心貼心提醒您以下幾點英文領域必修須知：

除英文一、英文二及英文三共 6 個必修學分外，別忘了畢業前還需要通過【英語領域畢業門檻】! 高中時期及大學入學後所通過校定英檢考試都可以申請! 建議同學及早至校務資訊系統申請及確認!

尚未通過英語領域畢業門檻的同學，必須於畢業前修畢【進修英文】。該課程預設開課對象為『未通過』英檢的大三 (含) 以上同學，所以課程內容及要求會更嚴格把關，以期學生達到應有的實力。學生所需付出的努力及時間絕不亞於、甚或更勝於準備英檢考試。所以語言中心鼓勵同學以努力通過英檢考試而非修課方式來取得你的大學文憑。

承上點，在104學年度第2學期【進修英文】即將開設之前，同學仍有時間可以報考各項英檢考試，語言中心將於今年12月12日(星期六)舉辦多益校園團測，並已於10月8日開放線上報名系統! 然本次團測報名人數有限，很快就會額滿，建議同學儘早把握機會！詳細報名及相關訊息，請見語言中心公告 。

歡迎及早選修下學期【進修英文】課程（開課代碼LANG)，
或於畢業前自行報考並通過校訂英語領域畢業門檻英檢考試。

請務必留意，
自本(104)學年度起，語言中心每學年度第一學期僅開設【英文一】及【英文三】
，第二學期僅開設【英文二】及【進修英文】，
學生應自行了解、規劃，並於畢業前達到校方的畢業及修課規定，

切勿拖延至大四畢業前才「忽然發現」哪門英文必修未修、
或是畢業門檻英檢考試未過，
耽誤自己的畢業時程，甚或未來的研究所入學!

Dear 3^rd-year students,

This is a friendly reminder that if you have not passed the Graduation Threshold in the English field set by the School for students enrolled in 2013 & 2014 academic years, we suggest you either take the course ”Fundamentals of English”(listening & speaking OR reading) offered by the Language Center next semester (Spring 2016) or by your anticipated graduation day, take and pass any English proficiency test(s) listed at school’s official site (http://curricul.web.nthu.edu.tw/files/14-1073-54576,r3436-1.php).

Please also be noted that starting this (2015) academic year, all “English I” & “English III” courses will only be offered in the 1^st semester and “English II” & “Fundamentals of English” in the 2^nd.  It is students’ own responsibility to fully understand the academic requirement & rules and to arrange and finish their compulsory courses should they plan to successfully graduate from the school by their anticipated dates.

For your information, students having waived English compulsory courses or having met any of the qualifications during high school years automatically pass graduation threshold in the English field. Do not forget to fill in the application form on the Academic Information Systems and to finish such application process at the Language Center.
