Regulation for credit hour

Enforcement Rules of the University Act，Article 23  (Ministry of Education)

18 teaching hours shall be equal to 1 credit. Calculation of practical credits shall be stipulated by the universities.

National Tsing Hua University Academic Regulations，Article 21

A credit at National Tsing Hua University means 18 periods per semester in a particular course，one period lasts 50 minutes. For Lab courses, one credit requires a 2~3 hours attendance per week for one semester.
