Course Evaluation
Course Evaluation Process
The course evaluation process occurs at the conclusion of each semester, urging students to provide anonymous feedback on their courses through the online platform at https://www.ccxp.nthu.edu.tw/ccxp/INQUIRE/. Once submitted, feedback cannot be altered or deleted, and confidentiality is maintained until final grades are assigned.
Importance of Student Feedback
Student feedback is a vital element for continuous improvement in course content and teaching quality. All constructive comments are taken seriously and handled with care to enhance the overall learning experience.
Appreciation for Feedback
After completing the course evaluation, students are encouraged to visit the office of the Division of Curriculum at either the main or Nanda campus. As a gesture of appreciation, a limited quantity of NTHU souvenir will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Public Accessibility of Evaluation Results
In previous years, after the deadline for submitting grades, course evaluation results were only accessible to instructors. Starting in the fall semester of 2016, if the instructor chooses to make them public, students will be able to access a portion of the results (for example, "6. The instructor's performance is outstanding.").
Scope of Course Evaluation
It is essential to note that the course evaluation specifically targets courses where "the teacher gives lectures." Activities like book reports, discussions, presentations, or debates, which do not primarily focus on the teacher's lectures, are excluded from the survey.
2024 Fall Semester Course Evaluation Incentive Plan
Our incentive plan for the course evaluation survey in the fall semester comprises two distinct award categories: draw and individual student awards.
- Individual Student Awards: Participants who successfully complete all their courses' online surveys within the specified time frame will be eligible to receive an exclusive, limited-edition school souvenir as a token of appreciation.
