Syllabus Submission Guidelines
Submission Deadline
Please submit the course syllabus prior to the first course selection, but no later than the start of the semester.
Course Outline Requirements:
- Detailed course outline
- Brief course description
- Relevant keywords
- AI Usage Rules: Guidelines for student AI use
Important Notes:
Importance and Stability of the Course Syllabus
- Please avoid making significant changes to the course syllabus, especially regarding grading, once it is published.
- If there are prerequisites for the course, enrollment restrictions or a clear indication of the required prerequisites should be stated.
Course Withdrawal Policy
- If withdrawal from the course is not permitted, this must be clearly stated in the syllabus.
Compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act
- Please comply with the Personal Data Protection Act and refrain from including personal information in the syllabus. If needed, announce it during class.
Attendance Grade Policy
- Attendance grades cannot be deducted for approved absences under 25% of total hours.
- Instructors may set specific rules, which must be clearly stated in the syllabus. (Refer to Academic Regulations, Article 32)
New Regulations for Student Leave of Absence (Effective 2024)
- Refer to the Student Leave Policy implemented by the Office of Student Affairs.
- Instructors must state specific leave rules in the syllabus to avoid disputes.
