Guidelines for Physical Education Courses

Course Requirements

To fulfill graduation criteria, students must successfully complete 1 Freshman Physical Education course and 5 Recreational Physical Education courses.

Course Enrollment

Applying for a Second Physical Education Course Enrollment

Students retaking the course with a failing record may only enroll in one physical education (PE) course during the first to third course selection periods. However, they are allowed to enroll in two PE courses during the add/drop period.
Students who failed a previous PE course or those in their junior or senior year who are missing PE credits can enroll in two PE courses. To request enrolment in a second physical education course, a "Second Physical Education Course Enrolment Declaration Form" must be completed. Please contact the Physical Education Office for more information.

Equipment and Fees

Students must bring their own equipment for the sports offered.
Students taking the golf course are required to pay for personal accident insurance and practice fees (approximately NTD 1000 per semester).

Freshman Physical Education

Freshman PE is only offered in the first semester, and there is no Freshman PE in the second semester.
Sophomores and above (including transfer students) who need to make up Freshman PE are not restricted to their own department, but cannot enroll directly through the course selection system; please apply for an extra selection during the extra selection open period in the first semester.

Recreational Physical Education

Recreational Physical Education courses are scheduled from the second semester of the first year to the second semester of the third year. Students are free to choose according to their personal interests and may repeat these courses. During the first three course selection periods, a total of 20 preferences can be listed in conjunction with general education courses, with a maximum of 1 physical education course selected.
